What if Jericho did not die?

Theories

Ok, this sounds insane but hear me out. What if when Dorothy left Jericho in the car that day he was switched with the doll when she went back for him? We do see Julian "finding" Jericho and looking shocked, and we see him finding the rotten meat. The flies could have been from the rotten meat and Julian could have been shocked to see a doll instead of the baby? I know we see someone in a hazmat suit taking what we think was Jericho away, but could it have just been a person thinking a baby was upstairs and holding the doll while getting rid of the meat and maggots and flies? Dorothy was acting very strange and hypnotized that day. We don't ever see Jericho pass away, but we do see Dorothy holding a baby and taking it for a walk and freaking out after she goes to the crib. It could have been the doll the whole time. There was an ambulance mentioned being there, but it could have been for Dorothy if she was shocked and freaking out about a kidnapping or Julian called the ambulance because she was hysterical. I doubt they would be able to keep the death of an infant so hush hush, especially if Dorothy is a news anchor. Someone could have been watching to see if Dorothy was a good Mom and saw her leave the baby in the car and switch it because of "what she did" by leaving him there. She could have had some form of postpartum psychosis and think the baby died and it was really just the doll instead of the baby?

The church of Lesser Saints could have even taken him because they thought Dorothy didn't deserve him for some reason and then Leanne wanted to see if Dorothy was a good person before she brought him back? That's why she took the job? She did not seemed surprised at all that Jericho was a doll when she met him so she obviously had prior knowledge of the situation. I do believe the house has tunnels and entryways that we have not seen before and that the real Jericho keeps being switched out with the doll by Leanne or with someone else's help as well. Maybe some of her previous fallen followers were hiding with her beforehand? Perhaps the real shocker in the end is that someone we don't expect has been gaslighting Dorothy into thinking that her child was killed this whole time?

The people who are very suspicious to me are her friend Natalie, Sean, Dorothy's Dad and the psychiatrist. They made it so Sean looks like he has an alibi being on the show, yet he may have had time to arrange a switch? He hadn't seemed thrilled with having a child since the beginning. Cooking the placenta at the baptism shows he's definitely not all there. It was a great way to destroy evidence of Jericho existing. It's just a theory that would make for a cool twist perhaps. What does everyone think?
