How would you create a TOC for a doc that only contains objects?

Looking for your best creative ideas. I'm compiling several PDF "booklets" into a single volume, and as such I found it easiest to drop them all into InDesign so I could overlay new page numbers and running headers. I'm also creating a table of contents that just lists the title and page number of each "booklet". It doesn't even need to be hyperlinked. At this point my only ideas are to create a no-color paragraph style to type the titles on each title page which feels less than optional, or to just create the TOC manually. Any other ideas?
