Warning, Lyrica (Pregabalin) plus Nitrous leads to dangerously low blood oxygen
So, I usually measure my blood oxygen when doing nitrous and ever since I started doing Lyrica, I noticed that when I’m on nitrous my blood oxygen doesn’t recover properly between sessions. It usually drops to 70-85 and then goes back up to 95+ after a few second, then I take some deep breaths and do more. What I noticed is that with Lyrica in the mix my blood oxygen drops to 65-70 and stays down there for a while, I feel a lot more inebriated and it takes a solid 30 seconds to recover to 95+% blood oxygen. I suspect the nmda activity of pregabalin somehow interacts? But maybe someone smarter than me knows what might be happening. Same effect applies to my girlfriend.
TLDR: blood oxygen stays dangerously low between nitrous sessions when doing it while on even medical doses of lyrica. this is not healthy. So if you care for your neurons and want to avoid brain hypoxia, don’t do Pregabalin if you plan to do Nitrous. You could seriously hurt your brain.
