How do you study playbooks and how do you apply that knowledge to the game?

I’m a sophomore in high school I’m the quarterback for my varsity team. I’ve always loved the small details about the game and the intricacies. I want to hopefully become an offensive coordinator after my college days. Now, Im asking how can I study playbooks from those like Mike Leach, Kyle Shanahan, Lane Kiffin. How do I access them and how do I apply what I see into my game and into my play? How can I learn the intricacies of defense and how can I use that knowledge? I hear so much about coaches terminology but how does that help a player/coach?
