I want to buy the DLC, but I have a few questions about the publisher in Japan I would love to get answers to.

Hi, I bought the game a few days ago, I want to buy the DLC but I came across this controversy with the Chinese publisher in Japan regarding Taiwan and stuff like that which is something I prefer not to support. As I understand, the developers are based on Japan and the game isn't published by the Chinese publisher everywhere in the world except in Japan.

So, why can't the dev team find another publisher for their game in Japan instead of getting their reputation ruined by the practices of their Chinese publisher?? If I'm not wrong the publisher is also banning Hololive streamers from streaming their game which to me seems like another incentive to find another publisher

If any of what I said is wrong please correct me, I'm just asking because I wish I could buy the DLC without all this guilt, not trying to bash the game or anyone for their purchase decision. Thanks in advance for the answers.
