Is a PS5 version of Part 2 in development?

I played TLOU for the first time this year, on my PS5 when the remake released. I really loved it and wanted to play Part 2 right away, but was surprised to discover that there wasn’t a PS5 version.

I remember doing a Google search and seeing somewhere that a “directors cut” of Part 2 was in the works for PS5, so I decided to wait and play it whenever that was released.

Well- it’s been some time now, and I haven’t heard any updates on this alleged PS5 version. And in Naughty Dog’s post today it wasn’t even hinted at. The PS4 version is on sale for $9.99 right now, I’m guessing I should just go for that?
