Seeking a Graphene OS configuration option
Living as I do out in the woods, when I'm at home everything's over WiFi, which is fine. A day or two ago I found the toggle that enables WiFi in airplane mode, and WOW! My Pixel 6a set up that way uses >1 percent of the battery per hour, and this is with normal use -- email, a little browsing, that kind of thing. This is opposed to <4 percent/hour when the phone is searching for a tower. So, then: is there a way, either through the OS or through some utility, to set the gadget up to look for towers only when it doesn't have a WiFi connection?
I know I can just take it off airplane mode when I go out into the world, but I also know that I'm likely to forget to do that. So I'd like to automate the process. I'd rather use WiFi instead of cellular whenever possible anyway.
So -- anybody know if there's a toggle or combination thereof that will let me configure it this way? If not, an app that will add that function?
Tia.
