Do SSRI’s ‘reset’ when you switch?

I know with SSRI’s it can take roughly 4-6 weeks to ‘feel’ the effects.

Hypothetically speaking, lets say I start on Fluoxetine and use it for 2-3 weeks, then for whatever reason, I switch to Sertraline. Will it take another 4-6 weeks to really ‘feel’ the effects, or does it carry over and would take 1-3.

Ofc the numbers aren’t concrete, but you get the gist of the question. Does the time span ‘reset’ if you switch from Fluoxetine to Sertraline
