Unpopular opinion about how Christian women dress...

**Disclaimer** I do not believe men should blame their problems with lust on women who dress in a provacative manner. This post is not meant to shift the blame onto women when and if men find themselves dealing with lust and sexual sin. If you want to create a post about how young men in the church need to stand against lust... go for it. I'll be the first to upvote but that's not what I'm talking about rn.

"Take this world but give me Jesus." The world is getting weirder and weirder... maybe it's time to go back to the fundamentals?

Call me old-fashioned but Christian women should dress modestly. It's not about the few verses that say so in a blatant way. It's about what is happening in the hearts of young people (women) who claim Christ. If you truly believe that you have peace with God (Rom. 5) and that He knows you deeply, there shouldn't be an obsession with being "sexy" according to the world or with drawing as much attention as you possibly can from men. The longer time goes on the more young Christian women seem content to dress like the world. "It's comfortable." "I want to fit in and feel normal." Wow... I don't want to come off to harsh but if one of my guys friends told me he doesn't want to obey scripture so that he can "be comfortable" and "fit in" I would tell him to become a buddhist and stop claiming Christ.

Why do women get a free pass on this? It's one of the most normalized sins in current Christianity...
