CPCE and NCE exam prep studies

Hello,

I am currently using the Encyclopedia of Counseling aka the Purple Book and putting all 800 questions in flashcards to use spaced repetition to study. I realized not every grad program has to take the CPCE so I'm not too worried about passing as I heard it's similar to the NCE which I want to take in April. My question is, what are some main resources or practices that are optimal study options? For those of you who passed, what was your exam prep and study prep like and feel free to give me feedback on mine.
