Is there a reason why one would recall a dream everyday?
I had a dream a few months ago that I can't keep out of my mind. Everyday it seems like I am reminded of it. It just randomly pops in to my head.
This dream is one of the many wolf dreams I have. Dreams where I traverse the dream world as a white wolf. All of these dreams are filled with symbolism and where I receive lessons from the spiritual world. Another thing I want to add is that the majority of these dreams take place within the season of winter. I traverse through snowy forests, across frozen tundras and over white peaks.
The dream. I start out walking through a forest with heavy snow on the ground. The trees are around me are barren and yet the canopy still looks thick. As I walk along I come upon a brown bear. Without hesitation we run at each other and begin to tussle. Rolling in the snow. There was no aggression behind our actions. It felt more like it was a test of strength. Once we slid down a hill, we separated. We then parted ways and I continued trough the forest. I fallowed no path.
It wasn't long before I came upon a frozen lake. At the center was a small island with a single tree that had fallen over. Sitting on the ice was a white fox. Immediately I gave chase. The fox and I ran and ran all over the frozen water, running circles around the island. The urge to chase was strong within me and the white fox was really trying hard to get away. Eventually the fox managed to escape me by diving into a hole located beneath the trunk of the tree. The encounter now over, I continued forward.
As I walked through the trees, I transformed back into my human form. My body was clothed in what seemed like native clothing. Unsure of what culture. In my hands I carried a bow and arrow. Suddenly I felt like I was not alone. I was joined by an invisible entity, but it's presence was strong.
Together with this entity we came upon a small ridge. Slowly I made my way to the top. Over the ridge I saw a wolf, but it wasn't any ordinary wolf. This wolf was a spirit. The entity accompanying me spoke with a women's voice "It is sick." I took my bow and nocked back the arrow. She spoke again " You must focus". Before I could take the shot I woke up.
I am unsure, but I think that the last part of my dream is telling me to bring death to my old self. The thing is that I am a bit afraid of change. Plus how am I suppose to bring about this change, this death? Focus on what? I have a feeling I will keep on remembering this dream until I do.
