Tax Question - Live in NJ but worked both in NJ/NY
Had a quick question regarding taxes which is complicated because my first time in this kind of situation. I lived in one state but worked in two throughout the year.
I have lived in Jersey the entirety of 2022 (Rahway until July, Jersey City since if that makes a difference) but my jobs have been in Raritan (also until June) and NYC (since).
Would I just have to file an NJ-1040 for the income I earned until June, and then a non-resident NY form (IT-203) for the income I earned while working in NYC? Is there any overlap or other forms/things I should know before tax season starts?
Thanks!
