Thoughts on Sam Harris?

I'm just beginning to learn about Sam Harris and so far he seems like a pretty intelligent guy. I was wondering what liberals think of him, any thoughts or opinion are fine.

The reason why I am curious about what you think is because he argues for secularism which I think is more popular with leftwing people. However he also does platform and discuss things with figures you guys don't like, such as Ben Shapiro and Jordan Peterson albeit he is publicly disagreeing with them on everything, civilly.

I was thinking about buying his book The Moral Landscape, have any of you read it? Would you recommend it?
