Father stole 10K worth of penny stocks
My biological father, who I do not speak to and haven't in years, ended up stealing stocks my grandparents (his parents) created for us when we were born.
Last year my grandfather (his father) passed away due to old age, leaving my grandmother to my aunt-his sister. After going through all paperwork after my grandfathers passing my grandmother and my aunt came across penny stocks they took out in my name and my sisters in 1996 and 1998.
As of two weeks ago my sister and I get news from my aunt and grandmother that my Father has drained both accounts/taken all of the money from the stocks. I believe it was 10K each. He did it without my consent or my sisters consent and apparently used it for his new wife's tummy tuck surgery.
The problem is his SSN was on my paperwork for the stocks (I believe) but not my sisters-it was my moms SSN.
He has lost all contact with every member of his family including his mother and his own sister. Everyone has to block him due to the aggressive nature of his texts and calls. I almost have filed police reports many times and now I am regretting I didn't. He has filed for bankruptcy back in 2017 and has lied about literally everything in his life to benefit him.
Can I sue this fucking bastard and possibly get my money back? Is it even worth it to try?
