How to fix my Sims 4 save files

So I was having issues with my computer so I decided to give it a hard reset. I had all my stuff backed onto a drive I bought from wish which was my FIRST mistake. Lesson learned funny cheap on your drives. Anyways none of that data was carried over correctly it was all corrupted. I tried to use Puran File Recovery to get my files back, and I was able to find and re-download the files onto my computer, however they're all corrupted and not working at all. I was considering using EaseUS to try to see if that program could bring back the files without them being corrupted, but then a subreddit I heard ppl talking about it being a scam or at the very least not working on SSD drives. I'm not sure if the drive in question is SSD or HDD. But yeah I'm not sure what to do or if there's even anything I can do. I reopened the sims so I could make a new save file so I could compare a working save file to a corrupted one to see if maybe there was something there however I looked at in the notepad program so it's just a bunch of gobbldegook (random letters and symbols) maybe there's a certain program that would help with I'm not sure I don't really know computers like that.

So please if anyone has any tips please lmk. I'll can add any more information or pictures if necessary
