Java development on arch for university?
I have finished this years semester in applied computer science, where I had to learn C programming, which I was quite familiar with, so I stuck with my trusty old vim and gcc, since I knew it better than most IDEs. This was more than sufficient due to the size of the programs, which were usually not more than 300 lines of code in one file. Next semester will be Java programming for which I wanted to use a proper IDE, however my Java knowledge only surface level, so I wanted to start a little earlier.
Could you maybe recommend some packages programs that would be a good fit for beginner Java programmers? This isn't really meant as a full guide, but rather a recommendation where to start.
thanks in advance.
