Cisco ASA 5512 - How to disable backup interface / Failover

Hello,
I have a cisco ASA 5512 with two WAN links. Recently I canceled service on the backup WAN link as its DSL and extremely slow. There is a failover configured with sla monitor and I need to disable it. Can I simply disable my backup interface in the ASDM and that will disable the failover as well? Thank you.
