Is this considered harassment?
My NFH has be harassing us with loud music and bass for almost 3 years and I started noticing certain patterns. I live in a newish apartment building on the third floor, on my level we have four apartments and our NFH will play loud music and bass the second we get home from work or go to our room at night to go to bed. Our bed room is connected to a shared wall which is next to their living room and kitchen area.
We started noticing the second we would get home this kid (20-25 yo) will start playing either loud music or a loud video game that is connected to a sub woofer near our shared wall. We can’t even walk into our bedroom at night because they turn it on the second we lay down for bed. We couldn’t sleep in our own bedroom so we had to put a day bed in the living room because of the ridiculous bass. It will go on from 4pm-2am some days.
The reason I feel like it is harassment is the second we get home the music starts up. I’m sure they have learned our schedule and are monitoring our coming and going.
This kid doesn’t work and is nocturnal, we never see him but he seems to live off of dominos and Carl’s Jr. lives in a two bedroom apartment in a very expensive area in OC. No parents living with him and his younger brother, the rent is at least $3200 a month plus utilities so we aren’t sure how these people are able to sustain that lifestyle without working. Maybe wealthy parents that don’t want to deal with these two little brats? Not sure. Looking for some recommendations. End of Rant.
