Mobile App v. 4.16.1 draining iPhone battery

Since installing mobile app 4.16.1 my iPhone battery has been running down faster than ever. Its using 50-60% of my battery and all as background activity. I have to charge my phone twice during the day, normally it lasts all day. I've deleted and re-installed as well as restarted the phone. No luck.

Does anyone know how to address it? Or how to contact Tesla Mobile App support. Seems there is no way to report an app issue that I can find.
