Motion sickness from playing

I am not new to video games or splatoon, I played splatoon 2 but never motion control. I got splatoon 3 and for the first time switched to motion controls as ive heard its better in the long run. Not sure if it will pass, but has anyone else experienced this, or will this pass after gettinf used to motion controls?
