Looking for a pallet cleanser from a so so book…

I just finished “the devil crept in” by Ania alhbourn and I didn’t like it. I really liked The deep by nick cutter, house of leaves, and laws of the skies. Im a horror and thriller fan through and through but I’m getting into sci-fi horror. I prefer lengthy books to novellas or short stories, I also have audible so I don’t mind utilizing that for a good read/listen either. (But not Stephen king)
