What do you think of squeaky or screechy soled sneakers or shoes, like shoes on a indoor ball court?

It appears basketball players at least of them seem to crave that sound. And the pros actually demand shoe manufactures to make their game shoes as loud as possible.

While basketball shoes are no longer popular some some reason except some of the vintage ones. But some shoes people wear make a lot of noise if they ever slide on surfaces. It appears some Adidas and Nikes ie the Nike Blazers are particularly loud i.e in buildings or outside with sealed or smooth floors What do you guys think? Do you like loud shoes make more noise with them and annoy everyone around you or hate it particularly if you are visiting someone who have you leave your shoes on? Or in a quiet enviroment?

Edit: It appears in addition to certain sport shoes i.e basketball, tennis, volleyball, skateboarder's shoes also tend to make a lot of noise on the ground as well.
