"Make sure you get plenty of sleep and don't forget to eat healthy to help manage your ADHD!"

This was the answer I got when I asked a PhD expert about how I could manage my ADHD.

I have now tried that out for 1 month, and his advice didn't help even in the slightest.

The biggest issue I have is getting started on anything, imagine me sitting in a chair looking like a vegetable. A guy on the Humans Anonymous shared with me what works for him:

"When you find yourself in these situations, where you cannot get started do this: Start by getting up from your chair by moving your eyes and then slowly other parts of your body. Stand up, do 5 jumping jacks - as silly as it sounds -, drink a glass of water, find a piece of paper, write down the first micro step of the task down, say it out loud. Next, set a timer for like 5 min and block yourself from entering the phone, and THEN you start the task. Boom, 5 minutes go by, give yourself a high 5!"
