Overthinking League Lore /Abilities

Has anyone experienced an analysis paralysis when deciding which League to pick? I'm a newb and know Kin is my Faction (Blood and Stone!). On one hand the fluff of Trans-Hyperion's Lore Aesthetic and vibe is so attractive. A counter balance to the hyper rigid Kin culture seems so refreshing. On the other hand when you compare their abilities to other main Leagues it seems they really don't stack up to Thorian with Uthar/ tokens 2x or beefing up attack or defense number boosts with Kronus or Urani. Not to mention the extra range to Ymyr etc..

Chasing Meta seems lame yet down the road don't want to regret picking a League for a fluffy reason and regret passing up substance for a shiny orange suit.

Input from the community would be awesome. Thanks!
