Auto importing transactions are unreliable..help!

Hello everyone, I go into YNAB back in September and have been loving it. The annual cost is a little steep but I admit the budgeting has helped me save incredibly more than the cost.

One of my favorite features is the auto importing of transactions from linked banks. My chase credit cards work seamlessly. But I also use SoFi and American Express, and amex has never been useful to link. SoFi recently has become a problem as well.

I’ve tried getting this resolved, and I understand this is on the bank’s end and not necessarily YNAB’s fault, but I was wondering if other people have these issues too? Are people finding a different solution, because I feel like I’m just back to old school spending 30-45 minutes every week reviewing my transactions and manually entering. This can lead to some human error and a lot of time wasted.

Is that just the reality of YNAB? Are there more reliable budgeting apps that link to banks or import transactions seamlessly? I’m not sure I will renew my subscription this year if SoFi especially doesn’t work, as 90% of my transactions go through them. Which makes me sad because otherwise it’s been fantastic and has helped give me financial freedom. Thanks for any help.
