'23 Bolt EUV Speaker Sizes

Does anyone have any experience swapping out the speakers in a Bolt EUV? I'm considering upgrading but I can't find any documentation on what size they take.

Thanks

6.5 inches. Use Crutchfield if you need more info on what components fit in the Bolt.

I love crutchfield! In the case of the 22/23 EUVs, they don't have much information on fitment beyond 6.5" speaker size.

Installation notes: sorry, but no installation instructions are available for your vehicle. We haven't researched your vehicle's audio system.

Is there any difference between the regular Bolt and the EUV in speakers? It doesn't seem like there is any.

There is no difference between the EV and EUV speakers or most of the interior for that matter.

I purchased speakers from Crutchfield and they provide instructions for installation of an amp, subwoofer, tweeters and the remaining interior speakers. I'm only doing the front/rear speakers.

Perfect - thanks for the info.

Crutchfield wasn't helping that is why I came here. I was showing me 6.5 and 6x9

What help were you not able to get from Crutchfield? They have a responsive support team you can call and email and their site showed you the speaker sizes as you just said.

When you add your vehicle to the site (EV/EUV speakers are the same), it shows all compatible tweeters, speakers, subwoofers, and amplifiers.

it didn't though as I said, it was giving me different sizes. Granted, I didn't call or email

I think I know why. Make sure to input your car as Bolt EV but not Bolt EUV. The interior speakers are the same, but for some reason only selecting Bolt “EV” will indicate that Crutchfield has the installation instructions and accurate compatible speaker list.

I should be doing this in the next few months. Make sure you get something that is super efficient because typically stock head units don't put out very much power.

Likely I will have my installer install a kicker key amp as well.
