Recommended/most popular Zigbee USB adapter?

Currently I'm still using a CC2531 Zigbee adapter, which is starting to show its age; so it's time to upgrade to something new. What's the recommended/most popular stick nowadays?

Zigbee2Mqtt seems to recommend TI CC2652/CC1352-based devices with experimental support for the SiLabs EFR32 chips. HA doesn't seem to give a recommendation but supports both the TI as well as the SiLabs chips. But either option has quite a lot of different variants, which one should I choose?

Nobody that ships to my country (NL) seems to have the SkyConnect available, unfortunately.

I just migrated from a Conbee II to a Sonoff ZBDongle-P because it was on offer on Amazon. But it currently isn't anymore.

However there is also the Sonoff ZBDongle-E which has the same chipset as SkyConnect. But this chipset is currently marked as 'experimental' in Zigbee2MQTT.

Is your stick not working? Perhaps just update the firmware and keep using it?

I moved from a cheap no-name 2531 to the Sonoff dongle with 2652 & external antenna. I also added some IKEA repeaters around the house. Network reliability improved exponentially. Can’t comment on anything else.

it can be located much more centrally than my main server hosting HA and has been rock solid..
