Monitor has no signal when connecting to laptop

So basically, I was browsing the internet when my gaming laptop decided to crash, with my external monitor going to many different colors of magenta and green. I force shut it down and restarted it but found that it was not able to connect to my monitor again.

I’ve tried through my USB C hub and my hdmi port, neither work. I’ve also tried connecting a different laptop to the monitor, which worked so I don’t think it’s the hdmi cable or monitor. I’ve also tried system restore to about a week ago which also didn’t work. Windows didn’t find anything wrong with the graphics drivers and said they were updated. I also tried sfc /scannow and while it did find corrupt files, it still didn’t help after a restart.

To be clear, my laptop monitor works fine but when I try to connect it to an external monitor, it doesn’t receive any signal. If anybody could help me on this, I would greatly appreciate it!
