Recommendations for moisturiser

Hi all,

I’ve recently been using Peace Out’s Blemish Repairing moisturiser, which I really liked (has some great ingredients: Bakuchiol, ubiquinone, ceramides, phytosphingosine). But I think the coconut alkanes in the ingredients are breaking me out, as I’ve been getting pimples on my chin (though I am prone to hormonal acne here, but usually it’s clear). No idea why a product designed for blemishes would use an ingredient that causes them…

So if anyone can recommend something similar (i.e something with ceramides and some good quality antibiotics that is fragrance free and won’t break the bank) I’d greatly appreciate it. I’ve tried CeraVe but that breaks me out too. I was looking at Amperna’s moisturiser which seems quite good. I like The Ordinary NMF but looking for something with a few more antioxidants (and I don’t think NMF has ceramides). I don’t mind Clinique moisture surge but hate the unhygienic jar.

I used to use La Roche Posay occasionally but I’ve stopped because they’re not cruelty free, so I’m definitely after a brand that is cruelty free.
