Is Nasal spray Causing loss off smell?

I have been dealing with chronic sinus infections for a number of years, and I have also been overusing nasal sprays for many years.

However, about 6 months ago, my sense of smell disappeared. Is it possible that my overuse of nasal sprays caused inflammation and blocked off my sense of smell? ( Can overuse over many years also cause sinus problems?)

I've also noticed that my sense of smell is not constantly gone, and sometimes returns when I am active. Even though my sinus infection is now gone, this problem persists, and i still use nasal sprays.

Anyone Else ever had this issue?
