out on short term disability, how to protect myself while going to college
I work as a nurse, my jobs physical and demands being on my feet.
I blew out my knee and I'll be getting surgery on it. My short term disability recently got approved. Graduate school starts next week for me, which includes some clinical shadowing stuff as a necessary component of graduating (where I spoke to my preceptor about accommodating me, and my understanding is it'll be predominantly office style stuff mostly involving talking to people and documenting).
I want to be completely open and transparent and not accused of doing any shady shit. I also don't want to drop out of college.
What do I need to do to be legally compliant in this situation? Will I be forced to chose between my job and school?
