That's awesome. I've been looking for a solid monotub tek for pan cyans for a while, hope you get huge flushes!
i am using standard monotub tek, except i am using poo god substrate and it is cased with 6:1 peat/verm plus lime. i started with just spawning the tub, probably 1:1 spawn to substrate. i let it colonize for probably a week or at least 5 days before i cased it and i gave it a solid misting (just until it looked like it was gonna start pooling) and i have been fanning it morning and night (and day time if i remember/get around to it)
first time even trying pans so im surprised i even got this far. next couple weeks i want to build a martha fruiting chamber for these.
but thanks, i hope i have a decent flush too, it would be so cool to nail these on the first try!
Thanks for the information! Yeah I tried using Gordotek, but I couldn't get them to pin. Gonna try again in the summer, I think my temps were just too low. Tried adding a heat mat and made it too hot lol.

Next time try a tray in a SGFC, and make sure your sub is no thicker than 2" with a very thin casing layer. Pan Cyan doesn't like monotubs for some reason.
i have read that and seen intermittent success here and there. i still have my sgfc from before i switched to monos but its full of crap ill need to figureout something to do with, and ill have to get perlite to fill it with. it might be worth it in the mean time.
im planning on building a martha in the next week or two though so i might just leave the sgfc as is.
Pan cyan needs way more FAE, I'm sure there's a way to dial in a mono for them but everything I've seen is lack luster. Small flushes and fruits, I've only seen good results with trays, either in a SGFC or a tent with good air flow. Maybe if you added more fae holes at substrate level and kept a fan running close to the tub you'd have better results. Now you have me wanting to experiment.
yeah i am gonna give up on these particular tubs. im surprised they even pinned to be honest. they havent grown much since sprouting so i probably got a good bit of fae to get pins to form but cant keep up with the fae plus humidity.
im gonna build a martha for these tho so no worries. now im out of town for a couple days and i cant fan the tub so im sure there is pretty much no activity going on anyways.
