[META] --> MAJOR RULE UPDATE, give us your feedback <---

The only items allowed to be bought, sold or traded on the sub are now stickers and patches

Oops, wrong draft META.

Ahem.

After reviewing other B/S/T subreddit best practices, and discussions among the mod team about balancing privacy and security, we've made the tentative decision to remove the rule to add your state of residence in post titles.

Due to how search engines archive Reddit posts, and services such as unddit work, we believe it is in everyone's best interest to end the location requirement. Ultimately, this will help prevent users from being doxxed.

State abbreviations will no longer be required in post titles, beginning now.

In 7 days from this META, state abbreviations in titles will be prohibited.

Old title rule: [WTS] Your Item(s) Here (STATE)

New Title Rule: [WTS] Your Item(s) Here

#General Reminder: All local, state and federal laws/rules still apply.

Do not attempt to buy, sell or trade items that aren't legal for you to sell, offer for sale or possess. It is each individual's responsibility to know and follow the laws that apply to them. Our enforcement of users who transact for prohibited items is not changing - you will be permanently banned if you do shady shit here.

If you have feedback or questions, please comment below. We will edit this post to include answers to common questions, and take all feedback into consideration.

Thanks y'all.
