I found **Life 3.0** by Max Tegmark to be very interesting, in a chilling sort of way. It offers the current thinking on the spectrum of futures mankind faces with the ascent of artificial intelligence. Questions and issues raised in the book are showing up today in courtrooms, news stories, and subbreddit posts.

If you're interested at all in computers, then you should read [The Soul Of A New Machine by Tracy Kidder](https://amzn.to/3H4iEmd). It's an amazing book about a group of computer engineers trying to build a new state of the art machine under very strict time constraints. The narrative is just amazing.

Not self help but I found Working Stiff so interesting I couldn’t put it down. It may have some graphic parts but it’s a great book in my opinion

"A Brief History of Time" by Stephen Hawking, it's a really interesting book even if you are not big on physics and Hawking is just incredibly funny. "The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and Other Clinical Tales" by Oliver Sacks, it's about some of Sack's patients who all suffer from neurological disorders. It brings a detailed view on how complex the brain is and how when losing one of the 6 senses it can change your whole life.

Im looking for interesting books in non fiction. I have read a lot of self help motivational books and Im pretty tired of them. So Im looking for a change in the genre.
Possibly the books from which I can learn something new . Maybe science or finance related ones.
