Is there any way to have sex with sydny and others without being punished by the temple?
I really like sydny but if i get promised to him and end up sleeping with somebody else i would feel bad

You can do rite of promise with sydney, then loosing vaginal/penile virginity to them won't count (sex with them after that is fine too). You can corrupt them after that too. fair warning: the punishment for being impure becomes more complicated, but not too much

I know about the rites but getting sydny being punished alongside me would make me cry and the rite of defilment would only let me bang him in the prayer room and if i ever sex somebody else and i get inspected for my virginity i would get punished and i dont want that to happen

Sure, just bring a couple of pepper sprays and fight off the temple followers who try to capture you. They won't bother you again for a month.

Just do the rite of promise if you do you and Sydney can bang whenever with no consequences. However you will only be able to bang Sydney, limiting sexual encounters to only him/her with out issues

The rite of promise let's you have sex with Sydney so long as your virginity is lost to each other. I think you're allowed to have sex as much as you want afterwards since the only sex the church tracks is genitalia.
Edit: I checked the wiki, it's weird. I think it lets you have sex with Sydney as much as you want, genital wise, but with anyone else genital wise is is seen as vow broken. So you can has sex with Sydney, but only oral anal and all that jazz with other people.

The temple doesn't care if you do the rite of defilement with Sidney. you can have some vaginal sex that way.

just don't penetrate / get penetrated vaginally. The temple doesn't care about oral or anal.
