Could Elspeth Bring the Sylex to Alara?

Story/Lore

Thinking of Elspeth bringing the Sylex back to Alara in that split-second planeswalk away, she could bring it back to Alara noting her history on the plane. And in that instance, the use of the Sylex could trigger the second Sundering of Alara -- allowing WOTC to fix the united Alara and giving the plane back its old gimmick of Shards.

Maybe there's some time-loop shenanigans with Teferi -- and Elspeth brings the Sylex back to Alara before the Sundering, and this was the source of the Sundering. Considering the lore still features a presently unknown planeswalker as the cause of the Sundering, this is out there but an interesting twist.

I think the story pretty heavily implies that she walked to a plane she had never been to before or not to a plane at all.

I'd kill for any version of Alara, but this isn't going to be it.

Oh I would absolutely love this to be the case! And if this is the type of big stupid thing we need to happen in order to get ourselves another visit to Alara I'm ALL for it!

That bit about Teferi though would be really cool, and a nice way to bringing Elspeth full circle without undoing what's come before. Also Elspeth had to get out of there quick, so instinct would probably take over and have her planeswalk to somewhere familiar.

So, I made a post about this, you made a post about this and multiple others too. It seems we are in agreement. Elspeth walks into Alara, reshards it and leaves without an explanation (or reincarnates there, she is an angel from Capenna after all and Bant has super powerful angels)

She didnt planeswalk away, the sylex pulled her somewhere. It's possible it's the same place Teferi went to.

I thought it said she vanished into thin air.

Even the card depicting this moments "vanish into eternity" says "she consigned it (the sylex) and herself to the nothingness in between."

Deffinitly a wording that attributes the vanishing to her not the sylex
