coins from spotlight bug?

at the end of rounds "coins from spotight" shown surprisingly high amount of coins earned by killing enemies while spotted even though I didn't invest anything into that in the lab and still got three-four times more coin than from the coing bot itself then I just developed lv1 in the lab then bang, the numbers are decreased and now I got roughly the same from both sources. this cannot be right..

edit: time to time i also see cash like $50 earned from a round even though i didn't unlock gt, now how strange is that?
