Delaware Annual Report for a Company with No Operations

Hi everyone - just looking for a little advice on how to deal with the Delaware Annual Report. I had formed a Delaware corporation through ZenBusiness in 2022. However, I have not done any work on this company ($0 revenue, no costs, no business product even). This was more an idea that I decided to try and formalize, but nothing ended up happening. Now, I have the annual report and tax filing for Delaware due on March 1st. I'm trying to avoid paying the fee to ZenBusiness to create this report, as well as any sort of fee to the state, when the business is nothing more than an idea. Is there any way I can dissolve this business and not have to complete any filings for 2022?

Appreciate the help in advance - thanks!

You can just not pay and the Delaware Secretary of State will eventually dissolve the company after a couple of years. Or you can file Articles of Dissolution, which will cost a few bucks but then it will be done with.

Great, thank you, that's what I was hoping for. I filled the annual form (but did not submit). It said $450 is due as a franchise tax. Just to confirm, it is ok to not pay this, which will lead to the company being dissolved, correct?
