fastest way to gain credits

So on my desktop honeygain uses about 1MB every 20 minutes with a 600Mb download speed. But on my phone it uses about 1MB every 5ish minutes with a 40Mb download speed... why am I gaining credits so much faster on my phone and how can I make my desktop gain credits just as fast? I thought internet speed mattered but doesnt look like it.
