Are the only true LAN tournaments Riot Organized?

Sorry I’m a bit out of the loop with pro valorant but I’m under the impression that unless riot is organizing it tournaments are just played on the same servers as comp? So there would be no difference in a local tournament if 10 players were all on the same network besides similar ping?
