So i went in, killed everything, found the Free Drones Hideout keycard and went to the room in the south part, there i click on the Electronic Lock and it says "unlocked" but the door won't open, i keep getting the message "this door does not have a conventional lock".
Now i am stuck i can't go back in the previous room without turning into a mutant.

3 or 4 npcs in that base have keycard on them, as the comment above said, you can pass by gas clouds by hugging the walls
But i have the keycard as mentioned...

Yes, it even says "unlocked" on the keypad itself, but the door won't open, i watched a video on youtube about it, and i could clearly see both the keypad and the door having the word "unlocked" popping up above it and the guy could just open the door after that.
But for me, it didn't work.

Sadly not, otherwise i would not have bothered posting here.
Then only option is to use cheat engine change your location.
That is what i ended up doing sadly, downloaded cheat engine and moved my "x" position 2 squares to appear on the other side of the door.
Anyway for next time just know that the biohazard suit makes you completely immune to the mutagen, so if you take one of those with you you’ll be able to loot the whole base without turning into a mutant :)
There is a path through the gas to escape the compound.
