My experience with smurfs...

They are way overrated. Most of them are scared of soloQ Master+ so they create new account to play rank when their buddies that carry them are not online and are afraid to lose their "precious" rank. They claim that waiting time for game is bad, but I had 10min + Q time bronze, silver and gold...so to me thats just a fake excuse. They dont want to wait to climb rank ? Really ? Or are they more scared to lose rank one can think... You chose.

When in draft, on my team, someone says : I just play against XXXXX on the other team he is a smurf, I dont really care. Actually it triggers me to step up my game and obliterate that impatient scared punk.

5 gold vs 5 gold (including a smurf ) both team have chance to win. No way that smurf will make a HUGE difference in the game. The worst player of the teams will have more impact than him on the outcome of the game.

A full team of smurfs can beat you once in a while, because they were tired to lose High Rank and decided to go low level to win but the really good players will stay High Rank and you wont see them.

Not many people can climb solo from bronze to gm legitly. Even the top streamers that do that for a living, use "friends" that randomly play at the same time on their team (not party) or their same "friends" on the ennemy team that will throw the game for the streamer to climb...

I checked recently a video of a recent final of some sort of competition league and I was really not impress by all the mistakes both team were making. Maybe its my many years of wooden league that makes me see all the bad play/mistake they do, but surely those plat master + dont look like the best in the league. They surely have good composition, communication and combos, but mainly to the fact they must be the same team playing togheter all the time, not because they are Godlike...

Ive played 3 games on my friends platinum 1 account while i was in wooden league (he was drunk) and I won the 3 and even mvped 1. Im I a god ? No . It just showed me the better are my teamates the easier it is. Maybe if had had played a 4th game i would have lost, but it just showed me how individual ranks doest mean sh!t and just like a gm can lose in bronze, a wood league can beat Plats.
