Looking to install Slice Engineering's PT1000 onto ender 3 pro v2! Confused about thermistors needed.
I am looking to print polycarbonate (PC) for my college project. I have Ender 3 pro v2 with...
- Micro Swiss full metal hotend
- Creality 427 motherboard
- Glass bed
- Stock nozzle thermistor
- Stock hot-end thermistor/heater
As stated, I am looking to upgrade to a PT1000 thermistor cartridge from Slice Engineering to reach 300+ temps but I've heard that I need to upgrade the stock glass bead thermistor as seen in the picture attached below. Do I need a new bead thermistor and what should I get? I don't even know what it is called, just calling it a bead thermistor.
I might also have another question regarding the wiring and where all the wires go. That is a later problem.
