A guy from my local bakery gave me a free croissant
I go there at least twice a week because is near my gym. I´ve ordered a croissant and the server thought they weren´t as fresh as they should be, but I insisted, so he gave me a free one. They were both delicious and I feel like I´ve won the croissant lottery.

Love these sort of stories. Some years ago, when I was around 18, I was working as a manager at a movie theatre and so often got home past 1am due to weekend shows. Stopped at our local mom-and-pop donut place since they’re 24 hours and asked for 6 chocolate frosted donut holes so I could have them in the morning. The employee nodded, and came back with a bag STUFFED to the brim. He told me they were making fresh batches now and were just about to toss the rest when I came in, so I got the extras (roughly 16) completely free of charge! Just paid for the six I ordered, which was like $4 or something
It´s the donut lottery! Some people´s actions are simple but worth more than actual money :)
