How to print where an object is instead of in the corner
I am trying to print an address on an envelope in the middle of the page. I have it where I want it but when I try to print the design it sends it to the upper corner. I dont want to have to move each address again. I want it to print where I put it in design space. Is there a way to do this?

Do you mean using the pen feature? Not print then cut where you use your printer to print images from design space?
Yes using the pen feature. I dont have a printer. Iām trying to use the pen in the center of a 4X8 envelope. But it keeps sending the print up to the upper corner when I click make it.
The canvas on design space is infinite and does not translate to real life x/y axis locations on the mat. The canvas just detects operations, color and size.
You using the term "print" is confusing since you aren't printing but I understand now. If you want the pen operation to draw the letters out for you, first create another layer with a 4" x 8" box. Set this box to pen and select a different color than the text from the menu. Place the text in the desired position. Finally select all and attach. Then hit "make it".
When you get to the "make it" preview page, it should show you that the text is exactly where you wanted it to be. You have the square set to a different color than the text so that way your cricut doesn't accidentally draw the square. During the prompt where it says to change the pen after the machine draws the text, just eject the mat and cancel the job.
Edit: first test the project without the pen attached to see which it does first. If it does the square first at least you won't have ruined your envelope and the cricut will prompt you to insert the pen for the drawing of the text step.
Edit 2: the cricut by default always sets every operation to the top left side. That's just the way it is. You as the user have to make the preparations to have your operations work at a certain location whether by manually dragging it to the location on the make it preview canvas or my suggestion with the square.
Love how we have to use all these workarounds for very simple things š
Canvas does not match to real life coordinates on the mat so you need a template shape for the envelope otherwise everything ends up on the top left.
