Advice

I currently work BOH and I just started a couple of weeks ago before the new years, I HATE BOH and I absolutely love customer service and talking to customers. I don’t know how to ask to be moved to FOH because BOH is short-staffed but is there any advice about what I should do and if I should even request it?
