Alienware Aurora upgrade question

Hi, I have been looking at building my first PC but I've seen the aurora r13 (i7, 16bg ram) is basically the same spec I'd picked out at a very similar price. The only difference is I was eyeing up 32gb RAM with more ssd storage than the aurora offers without moving up to the i9 (the spec and price leap seems ott for my needs). Would it be possible/sensible to upgrade the RAM at a later date if I feel I need it? Does anyone know if this is straightforward or a no no?
