Can I spot fix loose ties on a eight way tie for my couch springs?

I have an old couch with serpentine springs. The set of springs toward the front of the couch are out of place, angling forward and poking up. In removing the upholstery from the top and the dust cover from the bottom, I can see the issue is that the ties are loose on some of the front springs, allowing them to shoft of of place and do their own thing. Can I "spot" tie the offending springs or do all of the springs need to be retied? I am completely new to this and figuring it out as I go so my apologies of I am not using correct terminology. Any help appreciated and thanks!
