End of life care

My cat (18 years old) stopped eating and drinking 3 days ago. He is dying and has kidney failure. Not confirmed by a vet but I can tell he’s not his usual self.

What should I do? Go into a vet or wait for a natural death? Which one is more humane? Thanks
