Back from vacation mode... struggling to get any visits and sales!
I opened my Etsy shop in late 2019, I had to take a hiatus for all of 2022, and I reopened my Etsy shop a couple of weeks ago... and OMG the struggle!
I had a couple of returning customers that were waiting for me to come back and ordered right away, but other than that... no more sales. Barely any views or visits, even with Etsy Ads on (I already deactivated it because it was pointless).
I got 22 active listings, free shipping, tweaked my SEO according to the guidelines, a history of +1k sales, +200 5-star reviews, and now I'm struggling. Two of those returning clients left 5-star reviews already, which I had hoped would boost my shop back, but still... nothing.
I'm stuck on page 8 (or worse) of the search results page when I look for my main keywords.
Will my shop ever recover from vacation mode?
As a side note, I'm not in the US (I'm in Europe), and I'm concerned that the little money I earned with those few sales won't be enough for me to even cover the taxes (I get charged a fixed fee whether I sell something or not).
I've been watching Pam Duthie's Youtube channel and it seems SEO tweaks can take a couple of months to actually make a difference. Should I deactivate and delete all my listings and reupload them already tweaked, or should I leave them as they are and hope that the situation improves in a couple of months?
